Establishment of e-Learning Center at Kigali Institute of Education

It is to inform all KIE community that the a new e-Learning center at KIE has been established under PAN-African e-Network Project, funded by Government of India.

KIE hosts the opportunity to provide e-Learning facilities using latest V-SAT technology.

The project would be implemented in a phased manner in almost all African nations. In the first phase, the inauguration of PAN-African Network is going to take place on 26th February, 2009 in 10 African countries including Rwanda.

The basic objective of the PAN-African e-Network is to help Africa in capacity building by way of imparting quality education to students from some of the best Indian Universities / Educational Institutions, and to provide tele-medicine services by way of on line medical consultation to the medical practitioners in the patient-end locations from Indian medical specialists.
